Our Story
We are a family business, led by directors Myrianthe Riddy and Peter Robinson. Our crew are proud and passionate locals who love sharing the waters and wildlife they know so well, and every cruise is built around quality, safety, value and warm hospitality.
Mandurah Cruises is our Mandurah brand. It runs Dolphin, Giant, River Lunch, Seafood, Sunset and Christmas Lights cruises on the estuary and canals, home to about 90 wild dolphins, the largest resident dolphin population in WA, as well as self-drive electric BBQ Boats.
Rottnest Cruises runs the Luxe Island Seafood Cruise, Rottnest’s only sea-to-plate cruise. Guests help pull up Western Rock Lobster, swim in a sheltered bay and enjoy a seven-course seafood lunch with premium inclusive drinks. The cruise won the Seafood Experience Award at the 2024 WA Seafood Industry Awards and was named in delicious magazine’s 2025 delicious.100 – the top hundred dining experiences in Australia.
Sea West cruises are regularly featured by national and international media. Rottnest Cruises has appeared in The Times in the UK, The Weekend Australian and the New Zealand Herald, on Channel 7’s Sunrise with Natalie Barr, on Andrew Daddo’s Great Australian Detour and on Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour: Australia, and Yahoo Life UK named it in its global list of cruises foodies need to add to their bucket list. Mandurah Cruises has featured on Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens, in the UK’s Waitrose Food magazine and in Fodor’s, and Singapore’s The Straits Times joined our Wild Seafood Experience. Our guests have included WWE stars Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed, UFC star Alexander Volkanovski and the Fremantle Dockers, at the start of their 2026 grand final season.

Five of our six vessels are available for private charters, hosting weddings, birthdays, corporate events and farewells in Mandurah and at Rottnest Island. You can meet our fleet to find the right vessel for your event.
Our Vision
Anyone can do service. It’s hospitality that stays with people. Our vision is for every guest on a Sea West cruise to feel welcomed and cared for by a crew who love what they do, and to leave with memories of Mandurah and Rottnest Island that stay with them long after they step ashore.
Our founder and director, Myrianthe Riddy, shares this ethos in her People of Perth profile with Destination Perth.
How We Work

“We can’t put into words how amazing our day was and the effort you all put in for us.”
